Made by hand in Japan, the ALO Rectangle Sunglasses use premium acetate in a deep tortoise finish. Those warm, layered tones come from the colours of everyday Japanese life, which gives the frame depth without pushing it out of modern territory.
Brown lenses carry an anti-reflective back coating that cuts glare. Gold-tone hardware, integrated nose pads and a 5-barrel hinge round out the build, so the arms open and close with a smooth, controlled feel rather than a snap.
Rectangle frames suit square, oval and heart-shaped faces especially well. Keep them in a case between wears and wipe the lenses with a microfibre cloth.
